Description
Nameri National Park is a Eastern Himalayan range of forests located in the Sonitpur District of Assam. This National Park was world famous since the colonial era for its golden masheer fish(called as “The Tigers of the Himalayan Rivers”) found in the Jia Bhorali river running through the National Park. Nameri is also the only National Park in India where you are allowed to trek with armed forest guards as companies. Tourist visiting can come across animals like tiger, leopard, sambar, Asiatic wild dogs, clouded leopards, barking deer, Indian bison, sloth bear, Himalayan black bears etc. The season starts from November to April.

Day 1: GUWAHATI – NAMERI NATIONAL PARK
- Arrive at Guwahati airport, received and transferred to Nameri National Park (220 kms / 05 hrs drive), reach Nameri and check into Eco Camp. Overnight stay in Eco Camp.

Day 2 NAMERI NATIONAL PARK
- Today go for a trekking trip inside the National Park (This is the only National Park in India where you are allowed to walk inside its trail and provided with armed forest guard while doing so) for a duration of 03 hrs.Today go for a trekking trip inside the National Park (This is the only National Park in India where you are allowed to walk inside its trail and provided with armed forest guard while doing so) for a duration of 03 hrs.
- Return back to Eco Camp and after having breakfast and refreshment go for a gentle boat ride in rubber dinghies in Jia Bhorali River flowing along the national park ( 02 ½ hrs on the river).
- Afternoon you are free to leisurely spend your time or after lunch or can opt to go for a village walk in nearby villages.
- Overnights stay in Eco Camp.

Day 3 NAMERI NATIONAL PARK – GUWAHATI
- Today after breakfast drive to Guwahati airport for onward destination.
